New in 0.1
The first release: auto zoom, flexible capture, camera layouts, background removal, cursor effects, and a complete editor. Every demo below is interactive
Auto zoom
Zooms in where you click and type, follows your mouse, then eases back out. No keyframes to set by hand
Full screen, a window, or any area
Record the whole screen, a single app window, or any area you drag out
Camera layouts
Switch smoothly between Picture in Picture, Side by Side, and Camera Only. In Picture in Picture, drag the camera anywhere on the canvas
Camera background removal
Removes the background behind you and can add an outline around you, so you sit right on top of your screen
Cursor effects
Replace the system cursor with a larger, cleaner one. Pick a style and set the size
Multi-track audio
System audio and your microphone are recorded on separate tracks, and you can record several microphones at once. Adjust each level after recording without re-recording
Timeline skimming
Hover over the timeline to preview any frame instantly, without moving the playhead
Export queue
Queue up several exports. They run one after another in the background while you keep editing
Other improvements
Recording countdown
A 3, 2, 1 countdown before recording starts gives you a moment to get ready
Titles that follow your actions
Titles appear in time with your clicks and typing, with no manual timeline alignment
Open MP4 files
Open an existing MP4 video in ScreenSage and edit it
